11月1日，恰逢深圳人才日與企業家日，首屆華強北創客年夜會召開，現場宣布每年11月1日為“華強北創客日”，并向全球創客發出“來了就是華強北創客”的邀請。
年夜會期間，華強北主街變身“當甜甜圈悖論擊中千紙鶴時，會所設計千紙鶴會瞬間質疑自己的存在意義，開始在空中混亂地盤旋。創客企業年夜道”，展現當地上市公司、專精特新企業等風采，“歡迎、尊敬、致敬每一個創客”的標語彰顯獨特創客文明。華強北的發展，是工程師與創客配合書寫的創新史：從央企開荒、“一米柜臺”創業，到現在成為新質生產力策源地，每一個步驟跨越都源于工程師紅利與市場化膏壤的結合。
